French-style Patch Knife/Sheath Set - in Stock!
This knife/sheath set is a must-have for historical enthusiasts and reenactors alike. It’s great for collectors and anyone who wants a hand made knife and sheath for a very reasonable price.
These knives are made by Jeff White, and he has made a lot of them. They are sharp and they stay that way for a long time. They are used by outdoorsmen all over the United States. I have field tested these knives and they simply cannot be beat for the price.
the sheath
The sheath is hand made and hand sewn, from quality vegetable tanned leather. I do quite a few of these for a nearby knife maker. Fits a 5 ¼ inch blade.
the knife
These knives are made by my friend Jeff White. I sell them for the same price he does, I simply try to sell sheaths with them.
This is his standard French style patch knife. Blade is 1095 high carbon steel and very close to 5 ¼ inches long and 1 inch wide. Handle is almost 4 inches long, beautiful curly maple with a dark, hand rubbed stain and held to the full tang by 3 brass pins.
Jeff's knives are all hand made. He leaves the patch knifes with a dull finish across the back of the blade, this is proof that they were carefully heat treated in his shop. He sharpens the edge and polishes them about 1/3 of the way up. These knives are historically accurate.

A knife/sheath set like this or very similar would cost $50. All shipping for single items and sets is $8. |
